The Varsity Scout unit is called a Team. The adult leader is called the Coach. The youth leader is called the Team Captain.

For each of the five program fields of emphasis--advancement, high adventure/sports, personal development, service, special programs and events--there is a youth leader called a Program Manager and an adult leader from the Team Committee called a Program Advisor.

Other leadership positions from a regular troop apply as well: scribe, historian, quartermaster, etc.
